What is covered?
Any defect in material and workmanship resulting from personal, normal use in accordance with the owner’s manual.
For how long?
One (1) year from the day of purchase for caddy, caddy parts, battery and electronics. Caddy accessories are covered under this warranty for 90 days.
Who gets the warranty?
The warranty is nontransferable and limited to the person who originally purchased the product.
This warranty applies only to original Bat-Caddy products purchased in the United States, Canada and Western Europe from Bat-Caddy, a local fully authorized Bat-Caddy dealer or distributor. International shipping cost for product, parts or repair services exported from the country of original purchase are not covered by warranty.

If your caddy or any parts thereof are defective under the terms and definitions of this warranty, we will send you replacement parts, repair it or, at our discretion, replace it at no charge to you. How to get warranty service?
To get warranty service for your trolley you must contact one of Bat-Caddy's Service & Support Centers and provide proof of date and place of purchase of the product. At our discretion we will provide one of the following Warranty services:
For warranty services you must retain the original packing material in the event you need to ship your product back to one of our Service Centers. Charges for replacement packaging and shipping of such will apply.

What this warranty does not cover:
This warranty does not cover wear parts, such as rubber tire treads or remote control batteries. The warranty does not cover any defects resulting from accidents, damage while in transit to our service locations, or damage resulting from alterations, misuse or abuse, lack of proper maintenance, water damage due to hosing down or power washing product or submerged contact with water hazards, lakes or other water bodies, any loss of control of the unit resulting in equipment or consequential damage, unauthorized repair or modifications of the product, affixing any attachment not provided with the product, overloading of the product, fire, flood, or acts of God, or failure to follow the instructions in the Owner’s manual. This warranty also does not cover any international shipping cost or foreign repair services due to exportation of the cart from the country of original purchase.

my buddy and i bought the X4R about the same time. we play a minimum of three time a week. we calculate that the carts have at least 1380 MILES on them. one complete set of tires , one battery & one remote controller is all that had to be replaced. bolts and screws come loose and have to be checked at least every three to six months. upgrading the rear tip over wheel is highly recommended..

Going on 6 years now and still cruising. This is a great model and has given me lots of great rounds. Its like having a real caddy with you . If you are lucky enough to hit the green, you grab your putter and remotely drive it over to where you will come off the green. Its like you are a golf pro walking down the fairway without pushing a cart. I highly recommend it and Bat Caddy builds an awesome machine at a great price. I had one problem after 6 years with the on off switch. Bat Caddy Southeast sent it to me in 3 days and I was back in business. Awesome customer service.

This golf caddy is just fantastic. It gives me plenty of motivation to walk and golf more. The first day, I took the bat caddy out for a test run and had some assembly problems : ( . I was able to get a hold of a bat caddy technician in Pennsylvania (very helpful gentleman) and he talked me through the issue. I just wasn't using the clips correctly : ). After that, my only issue has been me running out of energy to continue walking but, every round I've walked a couple more holes. I used to have a hip problem from walking on concrete all day at work, and bowling. Now after walking three rounds I've realized the exercise from walking and golfing has cured my hip problem : ) : ). This Bat caddy X4R has gotten a lot of attention around my club as it is just purely amazing. There is a group of high school golfers that walk the course the same days I do. Each time more and more are taking, "snapchats" of my bat caddy X4R. One of them said that's what he wanted for Christmas. I think this invention is great for the game of golf along with personal health. I am truly happy with my purchase. If you're ever in the Carrollwood, FL area and see a remote operated bat caddy, don't hesitate to come say Hi. The user, whether its me or not, is probably happy to show you what it can do. I strongly encourage you to make this purchase if you're interested in walking and golfing but, don't want the stress of carrying your bag so you can continue to hit em straight and make more putts. And who doesn't like hitting the ball straight and making putts? I know I do : ).

Excellent cart. Have used this at least twice a week, from April to September, 5 years (off one year due to surgery). Have had no problems, other than operator error. The original battery is still working well.

Today I used my Bat-Caddy for the first time...WOW! It is so much fun to walk and have my clubs trundling near-by, or wherever I want them to go, without having to schlepp them on a push cart. Thank you a million times for this wonderful piece of equipment! I am going to enjoy golf a whole lot more and be more productive and ready for my tournaments using my Bat-Caddy!

Bat-Caddy...I've owned two of them and can say without any reservation, this is a top notch company, with a great product. My first caddy, was not a remote control unit. It still works, but a little irksome medical problem, forced me to purchase the remote control unit; either walk and let the Bat-Caddy, do the heavy lifting or ride a cart...that's just not golf. Walking is golf and 18 holes two or three times a week, keeps me in great shape.

I recently bought the X4R. I had a few questions and received an email response the next day, even though it was a holiday weekend. The caddy works very nicely. Although I have only used it once, I expect to use it a lot. I'm an older guy and typically walk the front and ride the back. No more excuse to ride the back nine.

Love my x4r. The customer service is bar none the best. Here is some news. I have used my caddy everyday I played golf. Have used it for 18 holes, let it set for 3 days, and played another 18 holes. Plenty of battery, and did not buy the lithium battery. There are some design changes I would like to see, but that is always the case. Would I recommend this product you bet. It is better then spending $2500 for a kangaroo.

I play golf close to 200 times a year unless winter comes too soon to Wisconsin. For the last four years I have been carrying my bag. I did have a Sun Mountain E Cart for eight years and enjoyed it. I didn't keep it close to me while walking, not smart. I have been thinking about and researching remote control carts for a few years. Now I am wishing I had bought the Bat Caddy X4R long ago. This caddy is wonderful. It is well built, easy to use and it even fits with my clubs in the trunk area of my Nissan Juke! I love walking while I play and not carrying my clubs or pushing a cart has made the experience of golf even better. I highly recommend the Bat Caddy X4R to anyone who walks while playing golf. I think the best way to use this is to keep it close to you, use the remote but be cautious. My battery charges after 18 holes in about five hours. Any contact I have had with this company has been wonderful as well. Buy this caddy!

Bat-Caddy is the best electric golf caddy available, and they also have the best service group in the business. We’re on our third Bat-Caddy, so we know the products well: we bought one used for my wife to try in 2013; loved it so much, we bought her a new X4R in 2014; loved that so much we bought me one too in 2015.
We’re both retired, and we love to walk the golf course several times a week; Bat-Caddy lets us enjoy walking even in the hot Virginia summers. The remote control function lets us send each of our carts to our own ball location while we help someone else find theirs, and our Bat-Caddys runs strong the entire 18, with large cart bag, umbrella, drink cup, and even divot sand bottle. I carried for years, but now Bat-Caddy makes sure I get the exercise and still finish strong myself.
We have several other electric golf caddies in use at our Club, but none of the other products have been as long-term dependable or as responsive to customer questions. When I called Bat-Caddy about a minor problem with the used X3, they actually fabricated a part to solve our problem. Peter Old, the South Eastern Region Manager, knows the products inside-and-out, and is very responsive in answering any questions or solving any issues.
Bat-Caddy puts out a great product, and they back it up with responsive service – an amazing find in today’s market !

Took my X4R out today for the first time and I am very impressed and pleased by its performance. I got the hang of the remote and the manual controls within a few holes of play. My playing partners were amused and impressed by my maneuvering the cart around the green toward the next tee as I went to put. It tracked a little to the left and I think I was able to correct it as soon as I got home by your instructions.
To say that I am pleased with the purchase is an understatement. I have arthritic knees and pulling or pushing a cart causes great discomfort so I have been riding. It’s much more enjoyable to simply walk along next to or behind the cart and have the motors do the “heavy lifting” for me. My knees are still sore after play, but I can live with that, considering the exercise I’m getting by walking, rather than riding, to say nothing of the cost savings over renting a riding cart each time I play. I figure that I will have paid off the investment of the cart in just a few months of play, and save money each round after that. My wife likes that idea.

I have been using the X4 R since June 2014 and have had no problems- has helped my golf game- no longer to I have to pause to catch my breath after going up a hill (Had previous used a very good 3 wheel push cart)- the remote is great to have - works well over 100 yards away- This cart represents such good value I have purchased a second one to take to Norway

It nearing the end of the golf season here in midMichigan, so thought I would write to you with some "field testing" information.
I have walked over 2500 holes of golf, about 550 miles, and everyone of them with my X4R. Our home course is quite hilly and there are few cart paths and a lot of long rough. The X4R has stood up to this in an amazing fashion.

I only wish every company I deal with was as responsive as Bat Caddy.
One often finds fabulous products with poor customer service or fabulous customer service with inferior products. Much like my golf game the driver and putter seldom work in harmony but at Bat Caddy they do.
You guys are fabulous. Thank you for your attention to date.
Just to put it in perspective if I were ever to get divorced my wife can have the dog but I will fight for my Bat Caddy!

.....I have had the X4R, 2014 model, since April, and after a slow start to our golf season here in Mid Michigan, things picked up quickly. Both my wife and I are retired and we are both walkers....but she is considerably younger than I so still likes to carry her bag, even though I have the old X3 stored in the basement.
As of mid July, I have played about 2,300 holes on a fairly hilly golf course with little in the way of cart paths, so all on grass, mostly deep except for the fairways which start about 100 yards from the tee box. I have been very pleased with a number of the features of the X4R.
First, the battery life is incredible, and I have the standard AGM 12 volt system. I have 2 batteries which I switch each day. After 18 holes of up and down hills, there is plenty of juice left. (I have a voltmeter connected to track charge state, and not just rely on the leds on the handle of the caddy.)
Second, the reverse feature is very useful when one over-shoots his ball because it is hidden in the rough. One thing which might be added to the manual...don't use reverse at a higher speed than about 2 clicks and then try to stop it....tends to tip over. I have learned to slow it down before stopping it fully.
The remote is simple and effective. The on/off switch is a very nice feature for those of us who don't pay attention and put the remote in a pocket, go into the restaurant/pro shop, and accidentally hit a button!
The front wheel design is very good compared to the X3...doesn't clog up with grass and is relatively easy to clean.
The unit tracks very well and the steering system using the 2 motors is excellent.
So, over-all, I am very pleased with this caddy.
Finally, and I haven't had need to use it, your support team is outstanding, especially Ron Z who helped me a lot with some problems with the electronics on the X3. It was because of this experience that I quickly decided to get the X4R. I look forward to seeing what new models incorporate as new features.

I purchased my X4R cart on July 15, 2010, so it has been almost 4 years now, and it is still the best golf equipment purchase that I have ever made. The X4R is the best designed cart on the market. If you look at their competitors: Cart-Tek, Spitzer and the re-designed BagBoy carts, they look so similar to the X4R design, it is evident that Bat Caddy is clearly the innovator in the industry, with a lot of copying of their design.
I love my X4R. It is dependable. light weight, powerful and folds up quickly into a small size, at a very reasonable price. What I love most about my experience with Bat Caddy is their outstanding customer service. Whenever I have had a problem with my cart, whether in warranty or out of warranty, Bat Caddy has been enthusiastic and proactive in resolving my problem as quickly as possible.
